After a successful pan-European acquisition in October 2020, Chattyco GmbH concluded another financing round.

Chattyco relies on the USA’s latest trend: fans can have their stars send video messages to themselves and their loved ones. Be it a birthday greeting from a soccer player, a charity campaign by an actor or comforting words from a musician for fans who are currently unable to attend concerts — all of this is available on Chattyco, one of the leading platforms for video messages in Europe.

The pioneer from the USA — Cameo — has already achieved unicorn status there. But while Cameo focuses on the USA and the English-speaking area, Chattyco has been polyglot from the start. More than nine languages and stars from 14 countries are already on offer. Fans can use almost all relevant currencies, and the stars are paid regardless of where they live.

Especially in this challenging time when artists and musicians are cut off from their audience, Chattyco offers a fantastic and realistic opportunity for the stars to stay in contact with their fans and at the same time to develop a new type of income opportunity. Many celebrities are already using this opportunity to support charities and give something back to their community.

By completing another seven-digit round of financing, Chattyco is strengthening its international growth and will continue to invest in the expansion of its proprietary technology.

With stars like goalkeeper legend Uli Stein, reality TV star Kader Loth, top model Victoria Jancke, singer Daniele Negroni, national soccer player Alexandra Popp, actor Martin Semmelrogge, and the Wollersheims, Chattyco has already won well-known faces for the innovative app from Germany.

The offer is complemented on an international level with more than 400 stars from 14 countries and in nine languages: These include such well-known actors as Richard Brake (known from “Game of Thrones,” “Batman Begins,” “The Mandalorian”), Bart Johnson (“High School Musical”), Leonardo Nam (“Westworld,” “Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift”), Miltos Yerolemou (“Game of Thrones”) and Kelci “Saff” Saffery from the Netflix documentary series ”Tiger King”.

With the Chattyco app and via Chattyco.com, fans can fulfill their greatest dream: a personalized video message from otherwise unreachable stars for themselves or their loved ones.

The two founders, Sylvius Bardt and Heissam Hartmann are enthusiastic that Chattyco could experience such extensive support from investors, especially in the times of Corona. The team is funded i.a. from well-known investors: Stephan Schubert (onvista, STS Ventures), Kai Bolik (Gameduell), Roland Fassauer (Intershop), Mathias Spiess (Spreadshirt), Michael Wölfle (ProSieben), Felix Brosius (Pflegewelt). IBB and the well-known angel investor Matthias Helfrich (MGH) from Wiesbaden were won as new investors in this round.

Our team is available at presse@chattyco.com for any questions or additional press materials.
